Thaddeus Kozuch - concert pianist, teacher, lecturer, scholar, composer ... a "Brilliant Piano Virtuoso"

AUDIO — Even after digitization, the original reel-to-reel analogue transcriptions retained stubbornly "dated" sound and huge distortions. Greatly refined with advanced audio engineering, they now convey the fresh, modern presence of a Bösendorfer concert grand piano — a truly exciting sonic breakthrough.
The guiding principle has always been to enhance the audio and acoustic qualities without altering the musical interpretation or the technical brilliance of the performances. Total time: 23:31

VIDEO: Bösendorfer Concert Grand Piano sonic rendering
PERFORMANCE — This video features pianist Thaddeus Kozuch’s commercially released 1947 Concert Miniature ALBUM. Its collection of short works was recorded directly to disc without editing — a standard practice of the era. These new Bösendorfer renderings bring a fresh, modern presence that far surpasses the dated "old sound" of the original transcriptions.
RECORDING — Thaddeus Kozuch performed these works in a recording studio for Philharmonic Polonez records in Chicago. These exceptional Thaddeus Kozuch recordings, whether musically intimate or techically challenging, were captured directly onto studio master discs. Four heavy 78 rpm discs (eight sides in total) were contained in the ALBUM, which also included liner notes inside its hardbound cover.
VIDEO — Each work is short in duration, usually under 3 minutes. An image of its 78 rpm disc is presented with each one.
I am interested to know your reaction to the Bösendorfer concert grand piano sound now heard in some of our Thaddeus Kozuch recordings — More will be released, so please let me know, and Enjoy! —
